HCV Solution

HCV Solution is a qualitative in vitro device based on RT-PCR (“Reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction”) amplification, followed by Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), of whole viral genome (Whole Genome Sequencing, WGS), starting from human plasma or serum samples positive for HCV virus.

The kit is useful for the determination of viral genotype and for the identification of drug-resistance mutations.

This product can be used as a diagnostic aid in therapy evaluation and patient follow-up.

After sequencing, the samples are automatically analyzed by using a dedicated software that can return a report with identified genotype and mutations, as well as associated drug-resistance related to HCV virus.
